Am trying to find information on a Wm. Gallant who was on the 1850 Union County, Arkansas census listed with the family of Alfred Eaves. Wm. is listed as 40 years old, and born in Mississippi. Since no occupation is listed for him, I am wondering if he is related to my gggrandmother Lurana Eaves 23, born in Alabama? Lower down on the same census page, listed with a Green family is a Margaret Gallant age 72 b. in North Carolina and Eliza age 24 born in Alabama. Any help with this family will be greatly appreciated.
