A large reunion of all Acadians is planned for 1999 in Thibodeaux, Louisiana in conjunction with the Congres Mondail Louisiane 1999. The Achee/Hache-Gallant reunion is planned for Saturday July 31 and Sunday, August 1, 1999. Those coming from afar will be able to register the Friday and hopefully we will have some type of get aquainted gathering Friday evening. Please see my home page at:

I am the Genealogist for the family reunion. I would appreciate all those related to Hache or Gallant or varient spellings of Ashey, Hachey or Hachet (possible but may not be all persons of the last two names)
