Gallant of 1449 My great grand father's was Daniel C. Gallant of Tuscaloosa Alabama. His Father was Alfred Gallant and I beleive that his mother was Nancy. Daniel was was born in 1843. He fought in the Cival War with the 11 Alabama infantry and finally settled in Patrick Co Va. Some of his siblings were Alfred b1833,William b1840,Marion b1849 and Levi b 1842.
