Hi!

I am just in the initial stages of my Gallant research, and am having trouble finding information about Joseph Gallant, born around 1854 in P.E.I and his wife, Julia, born Sept 1860 in P.E.I.

From what I have found, the family lived in Summerside, PEI (in the 1891 and 1901 census) and then moved west to Manitoba (in the 1911 and 1916 census). I can not locate the family prior to 1891, or in the 1906 census.

The children of Joseph and Julia were: Elizabeth Ann, Gilbert (Joseph Gilbert?), Albert W, Mary E, Josie, Thomas, Aman, Emiel and Celia - all born between 1879 and 1904.

My husband is the g-g-grandson of Joseph and Juila.

Looking forward to your help, and I am willing to share what little information I have!
