My maternal grandmother was Josephine Gallant, born in Newfoundland (Corner Brook?), married to Jeremiah O'Connell. Both immigrated to and died in Boston, MA. Josephine's father, my great-grandfather, is listed on both her death and marriage certificates as Henry Gallant. However, on Josephine's death certificate, her mother, my great-grandmother, is listed as Madeline Nadeau. On her =marriage= certificate, it is listed as Hadlid Moore. Could this simply be a clerical error? If so, how do I find out which is correct? If not, how do I find out what's going on? Does anyone have any info on this line? Any help is appreciated. :)
