Hi Susan. Thanks for this information as I do not have access to those documents in Ancestry.com as I am not a member. This may be the Antoine Gallant that I am looking for. It appears from the earlier census of 1901 that the Antoine Gallant mentioned there (born Dec 31, 1900) likely has died by the time the 1911 census takes place as he is not mentioned again. A second son, given the same name was born in July of 1904. This Antoine may be the one I am looking for. Is there anyway that you can check marriage records in Matapedia for about 1925 to see if his marriage in St-Alexis to Sylvana Doiron is there? That record may lists that Antoine's parents. Sylvana Doiron was born in St-Alexis about 1906 to Laurent Doiron and Madeleine Arsenault. Thanks.
