Hello Ed. I have the two books of Fr. Patrice Gallant and he follows the Gallant genealogy all the way back to Michel Hache dit Gallant who lived and died at Port Lajoie (first Charlottetown) after the British expelled the Acadians in 1758 from Ile St. Jean. They then moved over to the present day Charlottetown, PEI, Canada. Is this family that you are requesting, the main family to research back to Michel. If you know of the Gallant name in the latter part of the 1880's then Fr. Gallant usually has them numbered all the way back to Michel. Can I send the scanned information back to your e-mail account and we'll start corresponding back and forth using your e-mail account and mine.
Frank MacKinnon, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Please reply to this message by sending your answer to my e-mail at d.bosco@hotmail.com
