Thanks for the info --- now we know what war he was in ---- Gen. at 30 wow!!! I'll have to tell an uncle of mine who was himself a WW II US pilot and he reached the level of Gen. in the RI Air Guard before retiring My uncle's sir name is Gallant too. Wouldn't it be somthing if they were in an air battle at the same time! Say Hi when you pass through again.
