According to the New England Historical and Genealogical Register, English Origins of New England Families By Gary Boyd Roberts two Gallant children are listed with the family of Robert Brooke. The ship's name is the Hercules and came into Boston Harbor approx. 1626. Two boys were listed Abraham and James Gallant believed to be Mr. Brooke's Stepsons. I am looking for a Gallant connection to these families. I have also found records of a Jeremiah Gallant listed with Massachusetts Soldiers and Sailors 1775. Any information in connection to these Gallant's would be appreciated. Thank you Bette Jo Gallant Davis
