Hi guys,
Just passing through, and saw your question re: WW2 fighter ace. Adolph Galland (with a "d") was perhaps Germany's most famous and popular ace of the war, and reached the rank of General at the age of 30. He was credited with shooting down 104 allied aircraft, and survived the war. He died just a few years ago-Marc Poole
