Mary Ann "Polly" Gallaher Sparks is James Madison Gallahers brother. James M Gallaher married Elmira "Miza" Sparks 1841 in Mcminn county by uriel Johnson. Mary Ann Polly married the next year 1843 to John Sparks by Uriel Johnson as well. Theres also another brother Gainey (Gains)Gallaher married 1849 to Sarah Lawson. In 1819 deedbook D shows a will being filed under Thomas Lawson who died. Present was a John Gallaher and Joanna Gallaher (Martin) in attendence via recorded record. John Gallaher married Joanna Martin in Greene TN in 1808. A Polly Lawson (Martin) also in attendence. In another deedbook filed in 1841 shows a Isham Lawson died and his wife Mary is present along with several Martins, Lawsons, and James M Gallaher. These families are interconnected and practically in bed together.
