I am not descended from Caleb O'Gallaher but from one John O'Gallagher (O'Gallaher) and Margaret of Donegal, Ulster,Ireland. My ancestor was Hugh O'Gallgher, born abt. 1748 in Ireland, who emigrated before the War of the Revolution. He came first to Lebanon PA. According to the information I have been able to obtain from various sources Hugh had 3 brothers and one sister. One of his brothers was named James and this James also came to America, as did sister Bridget. I note that these 3 names show up in your list of Caleb's syblings. Although they are common Irish names, the coincidence of parental names and time of immigration suggest possible correspondence. Perhaps John and Margaret had children after James and Hugh left Ireland and the older boys were not aware of these new family members. If you have any confirming information, I would be grateful to learn of it, especially if it leads back to earlier O'Gallagher ancestors.
