Hello,

I don't have much to go on but...

Lola Diana Powell was born 1876 in Illinois or Indiana

She is the daughter of Maude (Mentzer) & William Gallaher. The family lore is that her parents either couldn't afford to keep her or the died and that she was "adopted" by an aunt, thus she goes by the surname of Powell.

Maude Mentzer's mother's name is Hester Medsker.
