Are you sure his father's name was Robert? There's an MA birth record for a Harry HILL b. 11-Nov-1885 in Boston to Sylvester V. and Catherine J. HILL.
There's also a birth record for William Joseph HILL b. 27-Feb-1884 in Boston to Sylvester V. and Catherine HILL.
And one for George Sylvester HILL b. 18-May-1892 in Boston to Sylvester and Catherine HILL.
Since Catherine stated in the 1900 census that 2 of her 5 children were deceased, I searched for any records with Sylvester and Catherine as parents. They had a daughter, Josephine, born 27-Sept-1887 in Boston.I can't find a record for the other child.
I found what I believe to be the marriage record for Catherine HILL, age 40, to Thomas E. GOLDING, age 51.While the place, Boston, and the marriage date, 24-Nov-1896, match up with what they said in the 1900 census, Catherine's parents are listed as Mark and Mary MORAN.
Does this sound like it's even the right family or could this be an entirely different Harry V. HILL with a mother named Catherine?
