Hello all... I've just received a few records (5, actually) from the Polish State Archives, relating to my ancestors (surname MAUER) in Gliniany, just outside of Lemberg, Galicia, in the late 1800s. They appear to be in German and Polish. Here are the records (I've cut them so you can just see the headers and the relevant entry)... any help would be very very appreciated!! Go to this link: http://tinyurl.com/dfhopm ...and click on the tiny magnifying glass in the upper-right of the image to zoom in, then just drag the image around to look at the whole thing. I'm pretty sure Psaiche Mauer later changed his name to Philip Mauer when he came the U.S.; I'm also particularly interested in the mention of Jacob TADANIER on his birth record, as he later married a Tadanier. Thanks! -Dan Notify Administrator about this message?
