Ogorzala - Thomas, Catherine, Zophia
I was wondering if someone can help me out, as I am losing my mind. I recently got a marriage application from the Register of Wills in Dupont Pennsylvania listing my great grandmother as "Zophia" (Sophie) Ogorzala. It lists her parents as Thomas and Catherine Ogorzala. Catherines maiden name is listed as Sapota. Catherine and Thomas had another daughter as well named Anna.
It lists Sophie as being born in Pennsylvania and Thomas and Catherine being from Galicia, but residing here in the U.S. However, I cannot find ANY record of a Thomas Ogorzala or Catherine Ogorzala or Sapota coming to the United States, or any census record listing them. I have searched ancestry.com, ellisisland.org, familysearch.org and every other resource I can think of and still cant find any record of Thomas and Catherine coming to the United States. Zophia was born sometime between 1893 and 1898 in Pennsylvania. So Thomas and Catherine would've had to of come here before 1899 to give birth to Zophia in Pennsylvania. I found one close match for a Catherine coming here, but it lists her birthday around 1890 which means she would've given birth less than 10 years of age, which of course... isn't possible.
Any help would be appreciated.
