Sorry to be so late in responding.I don't know much about my great-grandmother, only that she was a mid-wife in TN. and I do have a picture of her. Her name was Ellen or Ellen Gladys (as best as I can recall).Believed to me of mixed parentage (Indian/white). May have married President Wiley Newbern, had two daughters, one Pearl, the other Josephine.Thoughts are that she was born in the North Carolina area, and later migrated, moved to TN.The name Miller also is in there somewhere.
