I have been researching my Galer family and believe my connection goes back to John Galer born 1811 in Walberswick, Suffolk married to Elizabeth Page in 1839. His father was also John who I believe was a labourer at the time of John 1811 birth. Cannot be 100% sure this my line but looks extremely likely.
