Almon Gale was born in Vermont in 1851 family later moved to Wisconsin where a relative founded Galesville Wi. His wife was born in Canada and I am seeking any information on the Gale family and the Krib family. I also know that a Hiram Gale was a civil war veteran and lived to be past 100 years and lived in the state of Washington. He was featured in Time Magazine or Look as the oldest living veteran in the late 40's or early 50's.
