I have three original photographs of Gale ancestors, which I would like to get back to descendants or family members.
First is the “Wedding photo of Otis and Lilly (Gregory) Gale”, taken in Rockford (Winnebago Co.) IL, in 1910. OneWorldTree shows the wedding date as 7 Dec 1910 in Kendall Co., and he was Otis Murray Gale (born 26 Nov 1887 Kendall Co.) and she was Lillian M. Gregory. He was listed as son of William M. Gale and Marbry J. Latham. 1920 census shows them to be in Volinia (Cass Co.) MI.
Next photo is of “family of William Gale”, taken about 1899. Identified are: William, Lula – holding Ray Gale (about 6 months old); Neil, about age 19, Cornell, about age 16?, and Otis, about age 14. Ancestry WorldTree Project shows William M. Gale, born 31 Aug 1857, married as second wife Lula A. Dale (born 6 Dec 1871), and their son George Raymond born 12 Jul 1898 in Winchester (Franklin Co.) TN. First wife Gertrude was mother of Cornell (Jun 1882), Neil (Sep 1886), Otis (Nov 1887) and Merrill W. (May 1890).
Last photo is a postcard photo of “Eleanor Gale and Eleanor Dickinson”, taken about 1910. Eleanor Dickinson is age 30 and Eleanor Gale is about 4-6 months old. Eleanor Gale is shown in WorldTree, as daughter of Cornell L. Gale and Vera H. Dickinson Gale, with date of birth 11 Aug 1909 in Plano (Kendall Co.) IL, so I am assuming Eleanor Dickinson is sister of Vera Dickinson Gale, and aunt of Eleanor Gale.
