I have not been into this site for awhile. I did not make note of the names of the Galarneaus in the St Boniface Cemetary where Louis Riel is buried. I was looking for the name because it is the dit name of the Beauchamp family. I do have occasion to go to Winnipeg once in awhile and usually make a
pilgrimage to that graveyard. One of the problems is that the St. Boniface cathedral where many of the records were stored burnt down and much was lost. I do know that the Baptiste Galarneau from St. Albert was a relative of mine and came from St. Boniface.
