My lineage is connected through both Gainer and Bush in WV. My Great-Grandfather was Minter Elza "Jack" Gainer b. 1857 - d. 1911 m. Letha {a/k/a Ethel)Bush b. 1853 - d. 1899. Original Gainer lineage is through Francis "Frank" Gainer, George Gainer, Brian Gainer to Cornelius Gainer who came to America from Dublin, Ireland in 1725 (arrived in MD).
Bush lineage traced back to Johann Michael Bush b. 1697 - d. 1781 who came to Philadelphia, PA from Krefeld, Germany (on Rhine near Dusseldorph) via Rotterdam, Holland, Cowes, England. Johann m. Eva (Eiffa) Busing b. 1697. They had four sons; my lineage is through George Adam Bush.
