Hello my name is Shelley Flowers. I have been trying to find information about my great grandparents who immigrated from Canada in the late 1870s-early 1880s. I found my great grandfather in the 1889 Saginaw City, Michigan directory as a laborer living at 416 Douglas. In the 1900 census Saginaw wd9, Saginaw, Michigan his wife Zoe was a widow living at 900 Douglas St. with her son Ernest, 16 yrs old. She had 8 children, but only 5 were alive at this point. Their son Ernest = Joseph Ernest Gagnon was my grandfather. He died when my mom was just a child. In 1910 Saginaw, Saginaw, Michigan: Zoe was still at 900 Douglas Street working as a servant for the Goodreau family. In 1920 Saginaw, Saginaw, Michigan: Zoe (Zoa) was living with her brother-in-law's family: Anthony and Elmira Gagnon at 301 Greenwich. In 1930 Zoe (Zoa) was living with her neice: Mary J. Janicki and her 2 children at 139 Robinson St. in Saginaw, Michigan.
I am looking for any information about the family. Do I have any relatives out there? Please let me know.
