We are all decendants of Thomas Mayfield Gafford (originally Gifford) from Scotland. He came to the U.S.A. around 1740-1750, to escape the courts of Scotland!!!! I was quite surprised to see that you and my oldest brother (Deceased 1989) have the same exact name. We were raised in Florence, AL and have since scattered over the southeast. Your e-mail address indicates being in Alabama, etc. Please e-mail me with further info regarding your family.
