Hi Adam,

All of the Gaffins that are from Ohio are descendants of William and Mary Gaffin, who settled in Brown/Adams Co. (just off the Ohio River) in about 1815. The family originated in NEW YORK! They came down the river with their children--two of which drowned on the way. Tell me more about your lithuanian Gaffins in New York. There is another New York family that married into the Dutch families of New York.
