I have a Gaede in my family's line, an August Gaede born April 16, 1833. He is believed to have been born near Toerpin, Kreis Demmin, Vorpommern. I bring this up because of the close proximity between Toerpin and two of the towns you mention... Kenzlin and Hohenmocker.
Anyway, August's parents names were August Gaede and Marie Bock. Dates for his father aren't known, but his mother Marie lived from 1796 - 1876. Perhaps Ludwig and August were cousins (or even brothers if one of us has incorrect information concerning the mother's name).
August married my great, great, great grandmother Mary Messmann Schroeder in Pommern around 1859. She was a widow with three children (one being my great, great grandfather Frederick Schroeder). Together August and Mary had two children. They emigrated to America in 1862 and settled in Sadorus, Champaign County, Illinois. August died in 1895 and Mary in 1898. They are buried in Sadorus Cemetery. They changed the spelling of their last name to Gady when they settled in America. I have a picture of them taken in the late 1880/early 1890s era.
Maybe this helps. Even if it doesn't, I always enjoy corrosponding with people whose ancestors were from the Kreis Demmin area.
