Many people are looking for Ralph Allen Gaddy when his name was actually Edwin Ralph Gaddy, although the people who knew him growing up called him Ed, who was born in 1924 to Ralph Herbert Gaddy and Lillie Bell Haddon. Ralph Herbert Gaddy was born to Samuel Jackson Gaddy (son of James Andrew Jackson Gaddy) about 1902. Ralph Herbert fathered Edwin Ralph Gaddy 1924 and Mary Gaddy 1926, both now deceased. Edwin Ralph Gaddy is buried in grave section e-2060 at the Houston Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Houston, Texas since August 1983, along with his second wife, Vivian, who died 2001. The sons and daughters, grandchildren and g-grandchildren are all surviving: Oldest son, Roderick Edward Gaddy is the current patriarch; his brothers Kenneth (living), and Edward a councilman from Kingston, NY; Sisters Christine (living) and Victoria (living). Half-brother, Don Almeida (living). Next generation: Roderick Gaddy II, is the son of Roderick Sr, and lives in Alabama, who has brought on the next generation, Daniel Gaddy. He hopes to be state champion wrestler like his Dad. Many fine Gaddy lads: Michael Gaddy, son of Roderick Gaddy, and Ralph Edward Gadgy, son of Kenneth as well as Heath Gaddy of Houston; and Eric Gaddy of Kingston Son Edward are coming up to be the honorable in their own time. Room doesn't give to much for the oustanding woman who was behind all these sucessful men but Lillian Haddon of Duval Co. Jacksonville was Ralph Herbert Gaddy's first wife - Mother of Mary Gaddy who died in Brooklyn N.Y. Ralph Herbert Gaddy's second wife, Nancy Gadsden of Jacksonville, Florida (now deceased) who was our special step-Grandmother who was the mother of our most special Aunts, Betty Jo, Susan and Louise.
