Hello,

I am fairly new to researching the Gattis line. All I know so far is that my g-g-grandparents Nancy Gattis born c1826 (TN?) married James Allen Cook born prob. Wayne Co., TN in c1819 and died 1895 in Tyler Bluff, Montague Co., TX and burried in the M.T. Creek Cemetery in Montague Co., TX.

I descend through their son Thomas Christopher Cook born 9/14/1845 in Tishomingo Co., MS and died 29 Sep 1931 in Elmore City, Gavin Co., TX. He married Arabella Austin b c 1856 TX? and died about 1930 in Elmore City, TX.

Any information on their genealogies would be appreciated.
