All I have on John Gabriel is that he had 5 daughters. I don't know all their names, but I have a picture of them! If I can figure how to get a copy in my computer, I could send it to you. It is a picture of Mary Ann (Molly) the oldest sitting next to her mother in her mothers later years, probably in her fifties. Molly was born in 1879. The 1880 census has them under the name of Gabnil. You can get that on Family Search. I think there was Nellie, which I think is short for Ellender, which I believe was next to Mary Ann in age, Mahala, and Martha and Florence, the youngest they called Frankie. She was married to Marion Dial, but died young soon after they were married. Mary Ann was married to Ben Ritchey, but he was married to other women, and never bothered with divorce! They had one child in 1900. Walter Ritchey. I know that Nellie was married, but it escapes me right off what her husbands name was, but her son was Willis. I will have to dig for more info on her. I think S. Elizabeth Gabriel was married to a Rutherford, because the census has a Ben Rutherford listed as a stepson. Also there is a Abram Gabriel, which must be from Johns other marriage. S. Elizabeth was born 1850's and John was born 1825. He had a son born about 1850 also. I will try and find my info on Nellie. You can email me at Gena
