It has been posted that Elisabeth C. Gabriel b. 10 Feb 1886, daughter of Manning Gabirel and Ella Tomblin, married Daniel Mowen about 1904. This fact needs a correction.
It would appear that she had a spouse before marrying Daniel. The newspaper announcement stated:
"D.A. Mowen and Mrs. Lizzie Thackery, of Christiansburg, were united in marriage, by Rev. Griffith in Springfield, Saturday."
Published 4 August 1910. Springfield is in Clark County, Ohio

D. A. Mowen, was Daniel Albert, son of David M. Mowen and Minerva Rockey.
The 1900 census for Manning Gabriel in Jackson Twp., Champaign County, Ohio [ED 7, page 4B, dwelling 118, family 118] listed daughter Elizabeth V. Thackery living with him. She was divorced and had one child, Marie Thackery b. 1907 Ohio.
