On April 24, 1861, the newspaper - The Macon Telegraph - reported that a company flag was presented to The Wilkinson Rifles on April 20th. A "Miss Beall", on behalf of the Ladies of Irwinton, presented the flag to the Company. Has anyone ever read another account of this where the first name of Miss Beall was mentioned? Trying to determine if she may have been one of Thomas Newton Beall's daughters. He had two daughters that would have been of the appropriate age to present this.
Thanks for any information.
