Wow, that is some story. I wish I had at least that much information. However, it's of no help if it's not accurate. I don't recognize any names except for the "Fort Creek". I'll explain about that some other time. I'm a descendant of John Thomas Jackson who was born 1808 in Ga. and he died 1877 in Pike Co. Alabama. All we have on him in the state of Ga. is his marriage to Nancy Jane Wood in 1832 in Crawford Co. Ga. which is another one of those counties where the courthouse burned down destroying all records as was the case in Wilkinson Co. Ga. Records in Crawford Co. begin around 1840. Anyway I'm having to rely on other clues that are very scarce. That is why I was so excited when we actually matched up with someone on the DNA sample we sent in. But even before sending in the DNA test I had already speculated that my John T. Jackson came from Wilkinson County. That's why I would really love to compare notes with you and Terry. You can reach me at this e-mail address: bvickers@alaweb.com
It might be better to correspond directly with each other. Have you uncovered any other clues to help you?
