Richard, The thing that caught my eye here was the mention of Orange Co N.C. There seems to be a tie of my Millers to Orange Co. There was a Martha Miller b 12-25-1761 in Orange Co who married Thomas Bradford around 1783. They lived in Kershaw S.C. for many years where their eleven children were born, then moved to Pickens Co Al by 1840. This Martha Miller is buried in the same cemetery as Drury Miller, A.L. Miller's brother, and her grandson lived in the Drury Miller household in 1860, all of this in Pickens Al. I think she was related to our Millers.

I cannot tell from your deed where the land was located, nor a time period for it. Could you please tell me where you obtained the information? The Martha Miller mentioned in the deed probably isn't this Martha b 1761 in Orange NC, but I am wondering if she might be from the same family, and there might be some kind of connection here.
