1820 census index Orange Co. NC indicates:
Chrutchfield, Francis NARS: M-33 StR: 082 Page: 416 Family Grp.:NcRcd

The surname spelling above is wrong and should read as Crutchfield.

Francis P. Crutchfield appears to have moved to Georgia and is found in Wilkinson co. Ga in the 1840, 1850, 1860, 1870 and 1880 census records.

The abstract wording of that deed causes me to believe the land is in Wilkinson Co. GA. Notice that the land was part of the Noah Nelson estate. Martha Miller apparently was an heir to that estate because she was allowed to draw for a share of it. Somehow Edward Brannen obtained the land so as to be able to sell it. Perhaps you can find this Nelson estate information in Wilkinson Co. GA. Unfortunately I do not have the date of this deed. I wonder if it might also be recorded in Bulloch Co. GA.
