Hi:

I am researching the following family and am at a brick wall any help would be greatly appreciated.

David Johnston b. 1787 according to his will in Wilkinson Co., Ga. By 1838, he had moved and settled in Plaquemines Parish, LA. He was a riverboat pilot. In 1840, he married Hannah Fredericka Hoffman(n). They had one son named Alexander Henry b. Nov. 1841. David died in 1852 and by the early 1860s, Alexander & Hannah had moved from Plaquemines Parish to New Orleans. I have much more I am willing to share... but need to find out parents for David.

Chances are that David was married before.

Thanks for reading.
Tami
