I found the following legal document in the Amite Co., MS Courthouse. It lists an Elizabeth HARRIS who is appointing an attorney for land won in Wilkinson Co., GA in the Georgia Land Lottery.
There are a number of marriages in the 1810/1825 time frame in Amite Co., MS; however, no parents have been found.
Any information on the identity of this Elizabeth HARRIS, i.e. her maiden name and / or her husband, or any information on the land mentioned in the following, would be appreciated.
Know all Men by these presents, that whereas I, Elizabeth HARRIS of the Territory and County aforesaid am seised in fee of and in a certain tract or parcel of land, situate in the State of Georgia and in the County of Wilkinson which land was lately in the possession of the commissioners of the Georgia land lottery which said tract of land the aforesaid Elizabeth drew as a prize in aforesaid Lottery on ticket number. Now know ye that I the said Elizabeth HARRIS have made, constituted and appointed, and by these present do make, constitute and appoint William SUTTON of the Territory and County Aforesaid, my true and lawful attorney, for, me and in my name, to sell, grant and convey the said land absolutely in fee simple, for such price or sum of money and to such person or persons as he shall think fit and convenient and also for me, and in my name, to sell, execute and deliver such deeds, conveyances, bargains and sales, for the absolute sale and disposal thereof, with such clauses, covenants and agreements to be therein contained, as my attorney shall think fit and expedient, hereby ratifying, confirming and allowing all such deed, conveyances, bargains or sales, which shall at any time hereafter be sealed and executed by said Attorney, touching or concerning the premises: AND IN WITNESS THEREOF I have hereunto set my name and affixed my seal this thirteenth day of August one thousand eight hundred and eleven.

Sworn to in open Court.
