John Thomas Russom

John Thomas Russom is my Great Grandfather. He is buried at the Stubbs cemetery in Abbeville and is buried by his wife, Polly. I am seeking to know who this man was. What he looked like, as well as the rest of his family. His father, William B. was a gallant defender of Georgia soil with the 24th Georgia Volunteer Infantry during the War of Northern Aggression. I am seeking to know who he was as well.

I know that these men are my ancestors, I just know next to nothing about them as men, neither do I know about their families.

If there is anyone who can help me, with letters, stories, pictures, I would be most appreciative and ever grateful.

Thank You.

Jimmy L. Shirley Jr.
