Thank you so much for responding to my message. Morgan Head is one of Henry and Mary (Morgan) Head's sons. I've tried to make a connection to this family, but to no avail. I have to believe that we are somehow connected to this family. We are either connected to Henry and Mary or Benjamin and Catherine (Morgan) Head, 2 brother's who married sister's. What throws our research off, is the fact that we 1st find Abraham and Susanna/Rhoanna/Rhuanna? already married, living in Division 12, Gordon County, GA 1850 census record. Where they were before that time is unknown, but they had to have been married around 1841-1842 going by the children's ages. There is a Peter Head in this census, the only other "Head" found in the 1850 Gordon Co, GA census. We do not believe there is any connection between the 2 of them. Abraham/Abram/A. M. shows in the 2 census records that we find him in, 1850 Gordon Co, 1860 Dalton, Whitfield Co, GA, that he was born abt. 1811 in Georgia and that both his parent's were born in Georgia. If this is true, then that would make them some of the very early pioneers of Georgia. I have been told that General Sherman camped on my Head Family farm on his march to Atlanta, and there is a Head Road that is named after my Head family. If this is true, then you would think that the researchers could have made a connection to which Head family Abraham belongs too. They have been hunting for 30 years to no avail. I have only been researching for a few years and I am also stuck on Abraham. I GREATLY appreciate your assistance more than words can say! Notify Administrator about this message?
