Virginia Margaret Sims Bachman, wife of Samuel Wilson Bachman, and their son, John, age about 9, were living in Tilton, Whitfield Co., Ga. when they died. Don't have a date for them but guess ca 1890 - 1900. They lived on a plantation "Waulessa" owned by S.W. Bachman. Does anyone have any info on any of this? S.W. Bachman moved to their daughters in Florida who were schoolteachers and he is buried in St. Petersburg. Would love to find my great great grandmother's grave. Any help appreciated. S.W. was a medical officer in the CSA and a planter. Virginia Margaret was hailed a heroine of the war for keeping a telegraph line near her home up and working. The child John was hit by a train in front of the homeplace and killed.
