John C. Smith Family

Looking for any information on John C. Smith family. They were listed in the 1860 census in Dalton, Whitfield County, GA and then disappeared after that. John C. Smith was married to Sarah J. Samples and they had 5 daughters. They were Martha EVA, Mary E., Emma E., Sarah A. and their last daughter Ada Lee was born in 1863 in TN. I haven't been able to locate them after the 1860 census. His parents were John C. Smith and Belinda Browning and he was listed with them in the 1850 census in Jackson County, GA. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
