Oh, boy, DeLois, now I am really excited. I have searched so long for more info on William and Elizabeth (Atkinson?) Williams! I have long suspected that it was their son James H. who married Nancy Ann Etheridge (and maybe he died in the War, as he disappeared between 1860 and 1870?.

Patience married Solomon Jones and they were my great-grandparents! His parents were Henry and Mariah Jones, and they had at least 12 children.

Sarah married Linzey (sp?)Hasty. Was she also married first or second to this Covington Duman? I have the censuses showing these families - Sarah and Linzey, Mary Ann and her husband, Charles Franklin Morton. I think Cynthia may have married a Robert Jones but have not been able to find anything definite on that, except there is a Cynthia Williams Jones buried at Sardis Methodist Church in Stewart Co. and I was told by a local man, connected to our Harmons by marriage, that she was the daughter of a William Williams in that area, and the birthdate matches our Cynthia Williams. I have not been able to find anything definite on Burgess, Albert, etc. Are you sure about Elizabeth marrying J. E. Loyless, because according to what I have found John and Elizabeth were living together in Terrell Co. GA, and both are buried in Mt. Pisgah cemetery in Stewart Co. On the census Elizabeth is listed as John's sister and still a Williams, not long before they both died. will send that to you.

This is great and we have to compare and share info. will get back to you ASAP, great to have found you!!!
