Elisha Davis' dau. Malinda Ann(b. 12/16/1847, d.9/1922) married John Wesley Ramsey(b.1/14/1852, d.6/25/1921). They lived in Anderson Co. when they came to Texas. They had a store in their front yard. They were known to the public and grandkids as Uncle Wess and Aunt Pink. They are both buried in the Freeman-Dabbs Cemetery south of Frankston in what is known as the Hollywood Community. They lived just south of Frankston in the Sand Flat Community and were the hub of excitement. They gave big parties and gave land for the Sand Flat school. He dug a well there to provide and they cooled drinks in it. Many teachers boarded with them. They had 9 children (Charles Wesley was my g-grandfather who married Zuella Woolverton(now there is another story in that marriage)). Peggy
