Hi Becky, Jesup is the county seat. I have a copy of the 1900 Wayne county census.I found Virgie Googe living with the Andrew Kicklighter family as a border. Her birthday is June 1876- 23 years old- Beside her name is wd for widowed.Under her name is Arlington Googe -born August 1896-age 3 years- also listed as a border. Willie W. Finley is living by himself- listed as head of household- born June 1870- aged 29. I did not find a Rilla Googe, unless it is a nickname for Arlington. Hope this helps. Jesup has 2 or 3 nice hotels and some really good places to eat. Happy Hunting! Cassandra
