In 1807, John Green, of Jackson County, Georgia, died and his will instructed his executors to sell land that he owned in Wayne County, GA, first district, number 383.
Does anyone know if Wayne County deeds from that time period are available, and how I might get a copy of one if it exists? I can't seem to find an online index.
I'd be interested in corresponding with anyone with knowledge of this John Green. He was originally from Abbeville, SC, and moved from there to Jackson County, GA, about 1800.
