I am soooo confused. I am trying to locate my father's side of the family, but find too many people with names almost identical. Plus, dates, kids, and marriages are running together. Most of my family is from Wayne Co, so I am probably related to EVERYONE somehow. My grandfather's name was Flemon C. Crosby, but I am thinking his mother and father were Thomas M. Crosby and Lavinia "Viney or Vinnie" Maria Elizabeth Hill. They were married on May 14, 1895 maybe? Supposedly, my great grandfather died in 1918 or so, but this is not certain either. He may have been buried in Crosby Cemetary, as well. However, there is a Thomas G. Crosby and Vinnie Hill buried at Martha Memorial and New Home Church Cemetaries. I cannot tell if these are the same people. Can anyone help with this confusion?
