Wendy, I checked some of my books for information on Thomas H. Marshall. I did find that Thomas H. and Dora Dukes Marshall are buried at Pleasant Springs Methodist Church in Washington County.

I hope you don't mind, but I thought I would check a little bit and see if I could find anything online. I found the death certificate for Thomas at the Georgia Virtual Vault website. This is a great place (and free website) for death certificates after 1920. His parents are listed as William Shaw Marshall and the mother is (and kind of fuzzy so I'm guessing) Bertha Watley/Motley (?). I then checked 1850-1880 census records on Ancestry.com. 1850 for Jeff. Co. lists Wm. and Beedy, 1860 for Jeff. Co. lists Wm. and Beda, 1870 for Wash lists Wm. and Bedia, 1880 lists Bedie living with Thomas and Dora. So, Wm. was a bit older than Bedia/ie/a/who knows. He apparently died between 1870 and 1880 and Beda/// after 1880. They aren't listed at the cemetery though, but there is a son of Thos/Dora - Carlos.

Maybe you can find some information on Thos. brothers' death certs. or such that might further your search.

Hopefully, this will give you some info. that you didn't have before.

Good luck.
BK
