I'd like to get in touch with any descendants of Sterling Jones family who lived in Warren county in the early 1800s. Sterling died in 1843; his first wife's name is still unknown to me; but he married second wife Martha Ward Seals or "Patsey" Seals in 1811. This was Martha's second marriage also. He had children from the first marriage with the names Mariah B. who married John H Roberts, Sarah F. who married Thomas Satterwhite, Susannah who married first Elijah King and then Leroy Boler, and Samuel.
Children from the second marriage were James (I believe this is Dr James S. Jones); William, Martha who married 1st Thomas S Rogers, 2nd William Dickerson; Adeline E. who married Hugh Smith, Andrew Jackson, Emeline Immaroe who married Dr Mark E Swinney; and Sterling Washington who married Martha A Swinney.
