Hi Carolyn: Noticed your email that said you were researching the Altman and Carter families. My daddy was Woodrow Altman, a descendant of Thomas and Olive Winn Altman of Pierce County, and my grandmother on my mom's side was a descendant of Jacob Carter of Bacon and Appling County. I have quite a bit of information on both families. If you let me know who you are searching for, I will be glad to see if I have anything on the person. I am also related to Thomas, Davis, Griffis, Clark, and Turners.
