Joseph F. (Franklin) "Jeff" Joyner

Mr. Joseph F. "Jeff" Joyner, 64. died Wednesday morning at the Satilla
Regional Medical Center after a long illness.

A Ware County native, he resided here most of his life. He was a painter
and a U.S. Army veteran. His parents were the late Tollie Thomas and
AIlene (Davis) Joyner.

He is survived by two daughters, Jettie Corley (husband Timmy) and Lisa
King (husband Mark), both of Waycross; three sons, Dwayne Sweat (wife
Sandy) and Shad Joyner (wife Renee), both of Waycross, and Jeffery
Joyner of New Orleans, La.; his former wife Faye Joyner of Waycross; a
sister Lollie Beverly of Waycross; 14 grandchildren and a
great-granddaughter.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Music Funeral
Home chapel. Burial will be in the Kettle Creek Cemetery.

The family is receiving friends tonight from 7 until 9 o'clock at the
funeral home.

My mother in law has told me that the parents of Joseph F. "Jeff Joyner
were Tollie Thomas and Allene (Davis) Joyner. The obituary had his
mother's misspelled as Ilene.

Lollie Mae (Joyner) Beverly, widow of James Thomas Beverly is the sister
of Joseph F. "Jeff" Joyner.

Allene (Davis) Joyner was the daughter of Colquitt and Georgia (Pearson) Davis.
