Bunn Family of Waycross
Posted by: Joanne Gaudio (ID *****0438) Date: March 31, 2006 at 04:31:32

The 9 Nov 1924 Atlanta Constitution contained the following notice: "Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Dessau Bunn of Waycross announce the engagement of their daughter, Edna Gladys, to Robert Tate Stevens, of Waycross, formerly of Elberton, Ga, the marriage to be solemnized in December." I have not been able to locate the couple in the 1930 census and cannot find any other information to verify that the marriage occurred. Does anyone have any information on this couple? Robert Stevens, whose WWI registration says he was born in South Carolina and was a high school teacher, may have died in Georgia in 1961. I can find no further info on Edna Gladys. Any help will be much appreciated. Joanne Gaudio
